In the Embodied Leadership Series, participants learn the pragmatic skills of effective action and the capability of human interaction. It is in this balance that true leadership resides.
Engaging in today’s world can be overwhelming—the level of emphasis placed on outcomes, results and deliverables is stressful and demanding. What is often missed is the value of people – Are we reaching our highest potential? Are we working well together? How are we building teams and communities that create high levels of effectiveness, trust and accountability, while producing excellent results? SI’s programs develop the transformative leadership of individuals and organizations that allows this to happen.
We help you align purpose with masterful action.
SI has over 45 years of experience in delivering the highest quality programs for leadership development. After taking the courses in our Embodied Leadership Series, we promise that you will be able to:
- Articulate your current declarations about your future and what you care about.
- Take new actions toward furthering your goals.
- Make more powerful assessments and declarations.
- Identify the bodily and linguistic constrictions that limit your actions and possibilities.
- Identify and shift negative and ineffective moods in yourself and others.
- Utilize a somatic sensibility in your life and work.
- Return to center quicker and for longer periods of time.

We invite you to explore our Embodied Leadership offerings, either as an extended learning series or á la carte enrichment opportunity.
Leadership in Action One
An introduction to Somatic transformation + embodied leadership.
Cost: $1,950 for course Register
$10,500 for entire Embodied Leadership Series
Leadership in Action One is all about identifying and clarifying your commitment to your future. What do you really want? What in your life and leadership is working for you, and what isn’t? In this course, we focus on building a declaration – or statement of vision – toward a future that we want, and begin looking at how we can align our actions with that vision. We also start exploring our conditioned tendencies – the habitual actions that we’ve learned in the past – that may or may not be serving the future vision or goals that we want. This is a course of both learning and long-term practice – meaning, the practices and skills you will take home from the course are coordinated around thought, language, emotion and action that produce sustainable change. Our focus is creating leaders who embody the virtues of authenticity, integrity, accountability, confidence and a centered presence.
**Please note: This is part one of a two-session program that kicks off this course of study. This course also offers ICF CCE Units (4.75 hours Core Competencies, 20.5 hours Resource Development).
Leadership in Action Two
Deepen your somatic transformation + embodied leadership. Change well earned habits into powerful new actions.
Cost: $2,450 for course Register
$10,500 for entire Embodied Leadership Series
In Leadership in Action Two, we begin to look more deeply at the impact of our leadership. What is our personal leadership style? Do we have the practices we need to increase our efficacy as leaders, and remove the barriers that keep us from fulfilling our goals? How do we create the life or future we want, whether that’s at work, in our communities or at home? This course also deepens our work with conditioned tendencies by exploring Sites of Shaping – the multiple ways that we’ve been influenced by the world around us. You’ll build on the core somatic practices you learned from Leadership in Action One, including notably, how to use conflict as a generative experience that creates trusting and authentic relationships. You won’t just “learn” to be a better leader: you leave with actionable skills that will help you show up in the world as the leader you want to be.
**Please note: This is part two of a two-session program; participants must complete Leadership in Action One prior to enrolling.
