Overall, we collect information in order to: understand your needs; fulfill your needs in an accurate and timely manner; provide you with the best service possible; and ensure accuracy of internal record keeping. Any information we collect is stored securely. There are two types of collectable information: that which you provide voluntarily + involuntarily.

Voluntary Information
SI collects personal information when you voluntarily register, place an order or otherwise enter your information while on our site. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, e-mail address or phone number; or information related to customer satisfaction surveys, customer purchasing habits or other purchasing information; that is not otherwise publicly available. We maintain data files with this information to ensure timely, accurate and personalized resolve to customer comments or questions.

Involuntary Information
Involuntary information is collected by our web servers, but is not personal in nature. For instance, our web servers automatically monitor the number of visitors, the average time spent on the site, the popularity of our websites and any programming errors or failures on any of our websites. We monitor these metrics in order to determine the effectiveness of the SI website and to make improvements to the website.

What are my California Privacy Rights?

If you are a resident of California, the California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (aka the “Shine The Light” law) permits you to request and obtain details about your personal information that SI disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the last calendar year. As SI does not engage in the sharing of personal information with third parties unless asked to do so by you, we do not get requests for this information often. However, we invite California residents who would like to make such a request to do so in writing to: info@strozziinstitute.com
