Taught by Strozzi Institute founder, Richard Strozzi-Heckler, this is a 6-day retreat offered at the dojo in Petaluma, CA. This silent retreat combines sitting and walking meditation with somatic practice. New and seasoned meditation practitioners are welcome.
“In meditation, go deep in the heart”–Tao Te Ching
Location The course is offered on a 13-acre ranch in the rolling hills of Petaluma, California. The Strozzi Institute’s training site is a dojo, which means "place of training" in traditional Japanese arts.
Transportation, Lodging, and Food Organic meals (with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options), sourced and prepared locally, will be provided for three meals a day. Transportation and lodging are not included. For this course, participants may stay in off site lodging or on site in tents, in the dojo, or in campers, and must bring their own bedding.Recommended lodging options
Pre-requisite None—all are welcome.
Cost The cost for the course is $650. Teacher compensation is in the open-hearted tradition of “Dana,” meaning participants have the opportunity to make a donation to the teacher at the retreat’s end; the teacher receives no other compensation.
You can pay the full $650 tuition now, or pay a non-refundable $500 deposit and then pay the outstanding tuition no later than 30 days before the course.
