Discover somatic practices to let go of old habits, release what’s keeping you stuck, and thrive in the world’s new future.

Explore how to answer the invitation of our time — and reimagine yourself in a world that’s fundamentally changed.

In the face of all that’s happening in the world right now, you might recognize that we’re in a time of accelerated growth and be experiencing a sense of urgency…

Wondering how to respond, be more involved, connected, engaged, and present...

And, you may be seeking a holistic practice that transforms your WHOLE self, life, vision, relationships — even the language you use — to support you.

As we emerge from a time of great uncertainty, we’re beginning to realize that we are no longer returning to the way things were before…

In fact, this evolutionary shift is inviting us to co-create a new future together — a world that works for all — and we each have a role to play.

So, what’s keeping you from answering this call? And moving toward a life of vision, embodiment, and action?

As society opens back up and we continue to learn about this new world around us, our old embodied habits and conditioning are rising to the top...

It’s this old conditioning that’s undermining your ability to move forward and flourish as you align your vision, values, and practices.

These habits and stories have grown out of everything from your childhood to current events. They’re not necessarily even negative — they’re simply survival strategies you’ve developed in response to your environment so you can get your needs met..

Now, in the face of today’s challenges, you’re (understandably) responding to events in a similar way.

And just as you want so badly to move along on your path and experience growth, they’re holding you back.

The good news is, once you understand these deeply embedded habits and stories, you can unwind them — and create new ones as part of an integrated approach that creates lasting transformation in your life… and within the collective.

Join us for a powerful new hour as Strozzi senior teachers Staci K. Haines and Maggie Williams share ways to recognize the old survival strategies that run deep within you — so you can evolve and replace these habits as you co-create the world’s “new future.”

They’ll introduce you to body-oriented somatic practices to help you answer the call of this unprecedented moment — one that’s inviting you to reinvent yourself...

Who will you be on the other side of the world’s transition?

During this free online event with Staci and Maggie, you’ll discover:
  • How you can cultivate a fully embodied presence authenticity, and skills to shift from reaction to choice
  • The Three Circles, a holistic framework featuring the core components for embodied somatic transformation
  • Ways you can take new actions aligned with your values and vision, even under the pressures of these changing times
  • A powerful, experiential practice to awaken and open the body to its inherent wisdom and potential

As Staci and Maggie will explain, there’s a powerful myth in Western culture, that the self and body are separate. This profound misunderstanding only leads us into a deeper separateness — from ourselves and those around us.

As you’ll discover, insight and knowledge alone can't produce transformation. To reliably achieve lasting change, you must move the center of learning from the head into the body — access to aspects of your intellectual, emotional, physical, and social  intelligence.

During this powerful event, you’ll hear about a rare chance to explore pragmatic, depthful and lasting transformation with Strozzi Somatics — a unique embodied learning approach that fully integrates meditation, martial arts, language for action, somatic psychology, bodywork, and social context.

You’ll learn how to align your vision of who you want to be in this new future with embodied practices to help you live out what’s most important to you, every day.

About Maggie Williams

Maggie Williams works as a social justice advocate, lawyer, and somatic coach. She is the co-founder of the Advocacy Institute, which works to transform the legislative and political landscape of New York for justice and dignity.

The Advocacy Institute trains and supports social justice and movement building organizations to lead more effective and efficient legislative campaigns.  Before co-founding AI, Maggie worked in the New York State Senate and as an advocate on criminal justice issues. Maggie started studying somatics with Strozzi Institute in August of 2011 and became a certified somatic coach in December of 2012.

Maggie attributes the powerful ways that she has expanded her offer – with individual coaching clients, with the team at the Advocacy Institute, and in her personal life – to the study of somatics.

Since becoming a coach, Maggie has studied with Strozzi’s partner organization, generative somatics, worked with clients one-on-one, led a process to integrate somatics into staff development at the Advocacy Institute, and based core elements of her social justice work on somatic principles.
