Declaring a New Future

A 9-week Online Training for Embodied Transformation

With with Staci Haines, Iman Boundaoui, and Richard Strozzi-Heckler

September 16-25, 2022

hello,

The soma is the doorway for sustainable transformation.

Somatic transformation allows for reinterpretation of ‘the body.’ When you experience a transformation of the soma – your physical body separate from your mind or spirit – you experience more choice and new ways of being in the world.

I used to think….Speak to Richard’s history/personal experience… and now I think…

Many people think of their body as simply the mechanism that moves them through life. It takes them from point A to point B, and allows them to enjoy food, movement, the senses, intimacy, and relationship with the other. Even though they acknowledge their body for its functions, they are disembodied from it as a source of change.

When people have that limited view of the body, they don’t see “somatics” or “embodiment” as a source of healing on its own. Somatics and embodiment is often an afterthought, or an add-on to therapy and other healing modalities. But Declaring a New Future: Embodied Transformation for Living What You Care About looks at the body as the primary tool for a whole new way of understanding and healing from trauma.

So if you are floundering in your career and purpose, dissatisfied with life, questioning what really matters to you, feeling whipped around by current events, or navigating loss… and you haven’t been helped by therapy or coaching, it is time to turn to your body

In Declaring a New Future: Embodied Transformation for Living What You Care About, I’ll help you understand how you’ve been shaped, and how some of that can be of service to you and how some is in the way of achieving what you want. I’ll show you a way to use your soma to become who you want to be and make the difference you want to make in the world.

“Quote: You can ruin an entire day by avoiding a 5-minute feeling; you can waste a year…”

Declaring a New Future: Embodied Transformation for Living What You Care About is taught from the perspective of social context. You will connect to, and practice with, a community of like-minded people from around the world. Our students are people navigating transition and change in the workplace, in the home, in personal lives and relationships. They are coaches and executives, parents and students, therapists and teachers.

Together, we will learn new practices and skills for somatic opening, for transforming your personal, ancestral, and cultural history through your body.

All of us are healers and the ones being healed, becoming more intimate with ourselves, and making intimate relationships with others possible. We are focusing on the non-human relationships around us, and learning a way to carry ourselves differently in the world.

Module 1: What is Embodied Transformation?
Module 2: Changing Towards What Matters to Us
Module 3: What Gets in the Way of My Longings
Module 4: Transforming out historical patterns and automatic reactions
Module 5: Opening to more choice and new possibilities
Module 6: Deepening practices and connection

Declaring a New Future: Embodied Transformation for Living What You Care About is not just a feel good course (though I certainly hope you feel good during it!). We offer more than just good intentions; we resource you to feel love and joy. We show you how to take your desires into practice, into action, and live them into truth. To move toward what you care about, with authenticity.

We provide a path to physically change your process of becoming.

You will emerge from this course with a vision and clear declaration of what you want. You will embody something you couldn’t before, and have more access to stability from within. And you’ll have a deeper connection with yourself, your loved ones, and the entire planet as well.

Warmly,

Richard Strozzi-Heckler, PhD, MCC

How You Transform Matters

“80% of the participants, after just 3 days in the course, experienced a different tone of voice, different shapes of their bodies, different background moods. And all in ways they each wanted.”

— Lise, Strozzi Institute Instructor

Declaring a New Future: Embodied Transformation for Living What You Care About will guide you to Discover. Unlock. Release. Transform.

Capitalism and consumerism have divorced humans from themselves, each other, and the environment. We experience that separation as dissatisfaction, lack of purpose, depression, and disconnect. But no one is alone in this aspect of the human condition. And the antidote is actually simpler than you think.

Learn the transformational practices for daily life and unlock how rare and precious your body is.

Experience the empathy and awareness of the interdependence of all life. Access more of your sensations and states that weren’t previously available to you, and dignify all your emotions to produce generosity and love.

Feel authenticity, a profound relaxation, meaningful relationships, a sense of inner peace and power.

Become the person you long to be — more open, empathetic, committed, loving, and aware — even under pressure.
